Business Development Manager - Folding Box Board Salesperson

Key Responsibilities:
Sales Development:
- Identify and target potential customers in industries such as food & beverage, cosmetics, and consumer goods.
- Develop and execute effective sales strategies to drive business growth in the folding box board sector.
- Present and demonstrate the features, benefits, and technical specifications of folding box board products to prospective clients.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with customers.
- Provide excellent after-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and repeat business.
- Keep up to date with market trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities in the folding box board market.
- Stay informed on industry developments, product innovations, and emerging customer needs.
- Prepare and negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts in line with company policies.
- Close deals effectively, ensuring profitability while meeting customer expectations.
- Work closely with the production and logistics teams to ensure timely delivery and product quality.
- Maintain accurate sales records and submit regular sales forecasts and reports to the Sales Manager.
- Monitor and report on customer performance, sales pipeline, and market feedback.
Experience:
- 3+ years of proven sales experience, preferably in the paperboard, packaging, or printing industries.
- Experience with B2B sales and managing client accounts.
- Familiarity with folding box board, its applications, and the packaging process is preferred.
- Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet sales targets.
- Proficiency in CRM software and MS Office (Word, Excel, Power Point).
- Product Knowledge: Ability to understand the technical aspects of folding box board and advise clients on appropriate applications.
- Customer Focus: A customer-oriented approach with a commitment to providing excellent service.
- Result-Driven: Motivated to meet and exceed sales targets through initiative, proactivity, and strategic thinking.
- Problem-Solving: Capable of addressing customer concerns, solving problems, and providing timely solutions.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £60,000.00 per year
