Call Centre Assistant
Location: Congleton
Part time - 30 hours a week - will include working a Sunday 9am-3pm
Thursday and Saturdays as days off
Salary: £11.64 per hour

At Specsavers, our Call Centre teams are essential in shaping the beginning of our Customer’s journey. We’re looking for someone with experience in customer service with strong communication skills, who is good with people, has an organised approach & a willingness to help - a friendly and professional approach is essential. You’ll offer a highly professional service that will result in repeat business, increased profitability and an excellent reputation for your store. No experience in optics is necessary, but you do need a passion for customer service
Joining our team, you’ll make sure every patient receives a great experience from the get go, creating a positive impression at every opportunity.
Responsibilities

• Taking customer appointment bookings via telephone;
• Online customer booking triage;
• Monitoring and correcting any incorrectly booked appointment made via the online booking portal;
• Completing telephone eyecare triage forms and communicating any appropriate advice and/or booking emergency appointments, where deemed necessary, post discussion and sign off with our Opticians;
• Inputting the information onto the OPERA portal;
• Dealing with customer queries/requests in a timely manner;
• Ensuring all customer data is correctly recorded and completed on customer records, including Doctor’s surgery details;
• Adherence and compliance to GDPR regulations;
• Transferring calls, where appropriate, to the correct department.
• Diary management, ensuring all entries are booked in the correct clinic, notes are made on bookings, and any instances where wheelchair access is required is communicated to the Supervisor/Assistant Manager to ensure the smooth running of the clinics;
• Cancellation of clinics at short notice and notification and rescheduling of appointments, where necessary, due to any unforeseen circumstances.
