Job Summary
We are seeking a high quality individual, with excellent written and spoken English skills, to carry out damp assessments of properties. This is primarily a reporting/inventory job, but there is scope to earn excellent commissions by up-selling services as a result of inspections where appropriate.
Training will be provided, including external qualifications, but a successful candidate will likely have a reporting/property inspection background, and be able to show experience of writing reports or similar and travelling to visit properties around London. If you have experience as an inventory clerk, or have worked as a PCA technician or similar, that would also be very helpful.
We will provide a car for work use and commuting, (electric, sorry!) and equipment too.
Responsibilities

• Travelling around Greater London and the Home Counties carrying out assessments.
• Inspections are done by moisture mapping, taking readings and thermal imaging.
• Reports are formulaic but tailored to each property, prepared via a tablet using specialist software, similar to a survey or property inventory.
• Additional services include mould cleaning, further testing, and the installation of drying equipment or strip outs (this is referred to another section of our business to complete), can generate commissions.
• During large events such as floods or large scale water damage jobs, you may carry out inventories of contents at affected properties.
• You must be extremely diligent, thorough and conscientious, and have a full UK driving licence.

Requirements

• Proven experience in a quality control or inspection role is preferred.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively.
• Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach to tasks.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal, for reporting findings clearly.
• A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of work.
