- Data Governance: Implement and maintain data governance policies and standards, such as data classification, data lineage tracking, and data quality rules.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the Internal Business Applications Architect and the Client Interaction Solutions Architect to ensure data architecture supports both internal and client-facing systems.
- Data Analytics: Support the design and development of data analytics and business intelligence solutions to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate data-related risks, including data privacy and security risks.
- Vendor Management: Assist with technical due diligence for data-related technology contracts and review existing supplier offerings to ensure they meet data architecture requirements.
You will have a strong background and experience in data and integrations, ideally within Microsoft or Salesforce along with a proven track record of delivery and have demonstrable experience in defining Data Architecture standards, principles, and applying to solution designs.
Additionally:
- Strong knowledge of modern data technologies and platforms, such as SQL, No SQL, data warehousing, and big data solutions.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, particularly within the Microsoft Azure and Salesforce technology stack.
- Ability to translate business requirements and processes into effective data architecture solutions.
- Experience in integrating AI and machine learning solutions into data systems.
- Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills across all levels, from C-suite to frontline operators.
- In-depth knowledge of data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
- Experience with data analytics and business intelligence tools.
- Pragmatic and collaborative, able to balance strategic goals with tactical decisions when necessary.
- Desirable:
- Affinity with other Architecture domains (process, application, platform and security)
- Experience of designing Data and Analytics platforms using Paa S services
- Metadata and Master Data Management
