Overview
As a Data Scientist at Alcerno Group, you will play a pivotal role in analyzing complex datasets to uncover trends, develop predictive models, and provide data-driven recommendations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand client requirements, design data models, and deploy machine learning algorithms. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in statistical analysis, data mining, and programming, with a passion for translating data into actionable insights.
Duties
Data Analysis & Interpretation:
  • Analyze large, complex datasets from multiple sources to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights.
  • Perform statistical analyses to validate data models and predictions.
Machine Learning & Predictive Modeling:
  • Develop, implement, and optimize machine learning models to solve business problems.
  • Create predictive models and algorithms that enhance decision-making and drive client success.
Data Collection & Processing:
  • Collaborate with clients to define data requirements and ensure data integrity.
  • Use data mining techniques to clean, organize, and process raw data for analysis.
Visualization & Reporting:
  • Create clear and comprehensive data visualizations, dashboards, and reports to communicate findings.
  • Present insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Collaboration & Client Engagement:
  • Work closely with other teams, including data engineers, software developers, and business analysts, to integrate data-driven solutions.
  • Engage with clients to understand their business challenges and deliver tailored solutions.
Continuous Improvement:
  • Stay up to date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies.
  • Continuously improve data models and processes to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
Data Security & Compliance:
  • Ensure that all data handling and processing activities comply with data protection regulations and best practices.
  • Implement security measures to protect client data and maintain confidentiality.
Qualifications
Bachelor's or master's degree in data science, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.
Experience - preferred
Proven experience as a Data Scientist, preferably in a client-facing or outsourcing environment.
Skills
Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or SQL.
Experience with machine learning frameworks (e.g., Tensor Flow, Scikit-learn) and data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
Solid understanding of statistical methods, data mining, and predictive modeling.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying and addressing challenges.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
