In this role you will primarily carry out export shipping activities such as booking transport, liaising with sales and production, checking and sending documents to customers and agents and providing forwarder/hauliers with shipping instructions to ensure an efficient and effective service facility is provided to all external and internal customers.
The ideal candidate will have working knowledge and experience of shipping procedures, dealing with freight markets and export financial instruments documentation. High levels of accuracy, organisation, planning and communication skills with a flexible attitude and proactive approach to a busy workload are key to this role.
