About IETG
Integrated Environmental Technology Group (IETG) provides market leading environmental data collection and monitoring services. Established over 30 years ago IETG give their clients peace of mind in supporting them to reduce environmental risks and improving the quality of their natural environment. Our customers include large blue-chip consultancies and water companies.
We are an ambitious team who are focused on growth, putting our customers at the heart of what we do, and we live our values of Happy People, Happy Customers, Working Safely and being Successful. Our culture is can-do, fun and where everyone has a part to play and a voice.
The Role
We are seeking to recruit Field Engineers, based from our offices in Sevenoaks (working throughout the UK). As a Field Engineer you will work with teams on various wastewater and water projects around the UK & Ireland. The Field Engineer will be part of a small team installing and maintaining flow monitors, water quality instrumentation and auto-samplers into sewer pipes and rivers around the UK.
The work you do will contribute to improving our environment; you will be helping water companies to manage their sewer networks, and this will help to prevent flooding, reduce pollution and improve the health of rivers and bathing waters.
Typical Day of a Field Engineer
Your typical day will involve visiting various sites where you will support your Field Crew Leader in setting up safely and then carry out the installation, calibration or removal of our equipment – which is usually located inside a confined space or a river environment. This will include lifting and carrying equipment from the vehicle to the specified site.
Field Engineer Requirements
Due to the safety critical nature of the work, successful applicants will be subject to drug and alcohol testing prior to start and on a spot check basis during employment.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: £26,956.00 per year
