Job Description: Fundraising Manager
Location: Stanmore Office – London
Hours: Full-time (40 h/w) - Includes working some evenings, weekends, and holidays
Salary: £30K - £40K (dependent on experience)

Job Summary:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Fundraising Manager to join our small, energetic team during an exciting growth phase for the charity. This new role is vital in shaping and executing effective fundraising strategies to sustain our operations and enhance the financial health of the charity. The position involves identifying new funding sources and launching various initiatives aimed at expanding our base of regular donors, fostering corporate partnerships, and driving legacy giving campaigns.
The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated individual with a creative mindset and a hands-on approach, ready to contribute to achieving our objectives. You will be reporting directly to the Managing Director, with the responsibility of managing one staff member.

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for all aspects of the fundraising department.
- To maximise Income Generation potential through fundraising activities across all income streams including corporate giving, gift aid, events, community and support groups, major donors, legacy giving and trusts
- Design and implement comprehensive fundraising plans that align with Noor Relief Fund’s mission and revenue goals.
- Build and nurture relationships with individual donors, corporate partners, foundations, and other key supporters.
- Prepare compelling grant applications, donor letters, and fundraising materials to secure contributions from philanthropic foundations and grant organizations.
- Develop and manage programs that recognise and engage donors, ensuring they feel valued and connected to our cause.
- Supervise and guide the fundraising coordinator in organising events and campaigns aimed at increasing donor engagement and raising awareness.
- Recruit, manage, and support a network of volunteers to assist in fundraising activities.
- Collaborate with the wider team to create impactful digital and print materials for campaigns, including content for social media and email.
- Maintain accurate records in donor management systems and use data analysis to optimise fundraising strategies.
- Produce regular reports on fundraising outcomes, progress, and financial performance for the management team and trustees.
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices, continually recommending improvements to enhance fundraising efforts.
- A bachelor's degree in non-profit management, business, marketing, or a similar field is preferred; a master’s degree is advantageous. Membership with the Institute of Fundraising is desirable.
- Proven success in fundraising within the non-profit sector, especially in securing large gifts and meeting revenue targets.
- Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders and present the charity’s mission effectively.
- Strong writing skills, particularly in drafting persuasive donor appeals and grant proposals.
- Well-organized and detail-oriented, capable of handling multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in donor management software and other relevant tools, along with a strong command of Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of best practices, regulations, and ethical guidelines related to charitable fundraising.
- Experience with donor engagement and marketing communication strategies is a plus.
