Job Overview
Our client is seeking a passionate and experienced Fundraising Manager to lead their fundraising initiatives and develop strong relationships with donors and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of fundraising strategies, excellent relationship management skills, and a commitment to advancing our client's mission. This role is pivotal in ensuring the sustainability of their programmes through effective fundraising efforts.
Please note: Our client is a faith based charitable organisation - so having experience of working in the Muslim charity sector will be favoured.
Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive fundraising strategies to meet organisational goals.
• Cultivate and maintain relationships with current and prospective donors, ensuring effective communication and engagement.
• Manage fundraising campaigns, including events, direct mail, online giving, and major gifts.
• Utilise fundraising software to track donations, manage donor information, and generate reports.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to promote fundraising initiatives through various channels.
• Conduct market research to identify potential funding opportunities and trends in philanthropy.
• Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for potential funders.
• Oversee public relations efforts related to fundraising activities, ensuring a positive image of the organisation.
• Provide excellent customer service to donors, addressing inquiries and concerns promptly.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fundraising or related fields, with a successful track record in securing donations.
• Strong relationship management skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders effectively.
• Familiarity with fundraising software, particularly Raiser’s Edge or similar platforms.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with an emphasis on public relations.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
• Strong organisational skills with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: £35,000.00-£40,000.00 per year
