We have an exciting opportunity for motivated and enthusiastic Health Care assistants to join Oakhaven Hospice on our In-Patient Unit.
Location: Lymington, Hampshire.
Hours: Various hours available (with an expectation to work a minimum of 15 hours per week)
Salary: From 1st October £12.08 per hour plus, unsociable enhancements between 30% and 75% depending on hours worked.
Interview will be held on: 24th or 28th October
About the role:
We are recruiting individuals who are compassionate, naturally caring, and genuinely want to make a positive difference to our patients lives.
You will assist our Staff Nurses and contribute to the provision of care by supporting both the patient and their family facing the challenge of terminal illness.
About you:
We are looking for someone with…

• An NVQ Level 2 or equivalent would be beneficial.
• You will have experience of caring for patients who are at end of life.
• A good standard of communication and the ability to work without direct supervision is essential.
• The successful candidate will be expected to have a fully flexible approach to working patterns, covering days and nights.
