About the role
Reporting to the Head of Supply Chain (GB&I), the Inventory Controller is responsible for inventory management, inventory governance and inbound/supply management.The role will have contact with sales, finance, logistics and IT teams for stock governance & accuracy and will have contact global planning teams, 3PL service providers for inventory management.
Responsibility includes:

Proactively monitor inventory levels, provide regular updates, and identify potential short-term stock issues to ensure optimal supply chain management.

Develop and recommend strategic safety stock policies and inventory value targets to maintain operational efficiency.

Generate and distribute comprehensive stock reports, including out-of-stock analyses, to all relevant stakeholders.

Investigate, identify, and rectify discrepancies highlighted during stock reconciliation procedures.

Oversee and execute daily stock reconciliation processes between SAP and third-party Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)

Collaborate with inventory accountants and warehouse personnel

Oversee and resolve discrepancies in the Finished Goods and Spare Parts replenishment process.

Identify and process unreceipted containers and graded pallets to maintain accurate inventory records.
About you

Proven experience and passion in driving Inventory processes
-
Strong knowledge on Inventory management principles and practice
-
Strong reporting skills, including advanced Excel
-
Strong previous experience in stock control, logistics and purchasing.

Good use of Microsoft Office
-
Excellent process knowledge
-
Excellent knowledge of SAP
-
Data Analytical mindset
