Salary: HCC HA Scale Point 2 actual salary £19,234 per annum including outer fringeallowance, based on 36.25 hours per week, term time only plus 3 days
Hourly rate: £11.95 including outer fringe allowance
Hours: Monday to Friday 7.00am to 2.45pm including a 30-minute unpaid break
Start date: As soon as possible
* Full-time equivalent salary = HA2 £23,055 per annum (including outer fringe allowance of £689 pa)
We are seeking to appoint a positive, energetic and warm person to join our caring and committed Catering Team. You will work on our continually improving school site which boasts a welcome and friendly atmosphere.
Unlike other schools in the area, we have our very own onsite catering team who pride themselves on delivering healthy, homemade meals and snacks to our students and staff team.
We have various catering outlets across our school site serving a variety of different menus on a daily basis. Your cheerful approach and customer service skills will make you a key part of everyone's every day.
Experience in food handling and food safety and health regulations is desirable but not essential as full training will be provided.
Main duties and responsibilities include:

• Maintaining the food storage areas, freezers, refrigerators and dry stores in all operations across the site
• Receiving, checking and organising daily multi-temperature deliveries and transporting them to individual operations across the site
• Removing all packaging and additional waste appropriately for recycling
• Cleaning and tidying all storage areas using the correct stock rotation and according to Food Hygiene regulations
• Aiding the catering department as required, to include equipment cleaning
