Role Responsibilities
As Legal Secretary you will be expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative to effectively and carry out administrative duties in accordance with company procedures and quality standards, these include:
Our ideal candidate will be someone with proven experience who takes a professional, client-first approach. They will have sound knowledge and administrative expertise in the field, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to communicate in a friendly, professional and confidential manner. The role will suit those with a positive and flexible approach and an ability to remain calm under pressure in order to project the image and ethos of the firm at all times.
Whilst character is important to us, we do require a certain level of experience to succeed in this role. This being a minimum of 1 years’ experience as a legal secretary in a family law setting or comparable role.
Please be aware all roles require the right to work in the United Kingdom, sponsorship of such right will not be provided. The successful candidate will also require a satisfactory DBS check.

Role Responsibilities
As Legal Secretary you will be expected to use a high degree of self-management and initiative to effectively and carry out administrative duties in accordance with company procedures and quality standards, these include:
- Prepare correspondence and documents using audio typing, word processing or digital dictation methods.
- Administer filing systems, including daily filing and the opening, closing, storage and retrieval of client files, in accordance with company procedures.
- Attend clients, both in person and on the telephone, in a professional and friendly manner in keeping with the firm’s standards for client care.
- Make appointments, arrange meetings and maintain an up-to-date diary for the fee earner.
- Prepare mail and enclosures for dispatch to arrange for all copying to be done.
- Ensure the confidentiality of all practice and client documentation and information.
