The order picker & packer role…
Our Order Pickers and Packers play an essential role here at Pure Pet Food. Each day 1000’s of individual customer orders are produced, picked and packed ready for daily distribution. All from our dry and non-refrigerated factory site located in Cleckheaton. Maintaining our high levels of customer service is essential and our pickers and packers’ ability to select the correct order for every customer goes a long way in achieving this. Expectations of the role are:

• Pack and label sealed dry food pouches into individual customer boxes as directed by our internal system. Presentation is key, considering this when packing the individual pouches is essential.
• Use warehouse management system to track inventory and update records.
• Keeping the areas clean and tidy to ensure production/dispatch/service efficiencies can be maintained by all staff.

About you…

• You'll have great communication skills - to collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or concerns (both verbal & written English)
• A basic ability to use our automated IT production system
• Diligence: High levels of attention to detail are essential
• Excellent at building relationships with individuals across Pure
• Enjoys working with people and thrives within a fast-paced environment
• A willingness to develop and grow within our Factory
• Capability to handle lifting tasks
• Competent in picking and packing operations

It’s essential that:

• You have at least 6 months experience within a warehouse, production or manufacturing role.

It would be great if:

• You have experience within a food production role and/ or have any food safety related qualification
