Dover College is a highly successful co-educational, boarding and day school with circa 300 pupils currently on roll.
We are seeking to appoint an outstanding, experienced Early Years Assistant to join our Prep School, working with our early years pupils (including personal care).
The role is part time (up to 20 hours per week ideally Monday to Friday 8am to 12pm (other working patterns would be considered - please see below) working term time only (33 weeks per year plus INSET days), and will commence no later than January 2025.
Requirements:

• A minimum of a recognised, relevant level 3 qualification in Early Years (not Teaching Assistant)
• Have up to date knowledge of the Prime and Specific areas of development
• Be an outstanding practitioner with high expectations for all children
• Be proficient in supporting the delivery of all aspects of teaching and learning
• Be an effective communicator and able to work in collaboration with colleagues and parents
• Be flexible and resourceful whilst always putting the needs of the child first

Preferred but not essential

• Forest School qualification
• First Aid Trained

Hours of work can be discussed. The preferred pattern is Monday to Friday 8am - 12pm, although longer hours on a Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday would also be acceptable.
