We are an established & reputable Main Contractor operating in Glasgow, Manchester, London and Bristol. We specialise in new builds, refurbishments, facades, and insurance reinstatements across industrial, commercial, residential, and retail sectors throughout the UK. With 40 years of successful trading, we have a strong reputation for delivering high-performance projects. We have a secured workload until Q3 2027 and tendered over £300m of projects in 2023! Our business operates in stable markets, ensuring our medium to long-term growth strategy is protected.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Marketing & Proposals Manager to join our team and drive our marketing initiatives and proposal development processes.
Job Overview:
The Marketing & Proposals Manager will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing the bids processes, and enhancing our brand presence in the construction industry. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to achieve business objectives.

Pay: £32,353.79-£48,415.63 per year

Job Overview:
The Marketing & Proposals Manager will play a critical role in developing and executing marketing strategies, managing the bids processes, and enhancing our brand presence in the construction industry. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills and the ability to work collaboratively with various departments to achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing plans and strategies to increase brand awareness and market share.
- Manage and execute digital marketing campaigns, including social media, email marketing, SEO, and content marketing.
- Coordinate the creation of marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, case studies, and newsletters.
- Lead the bid development process from start to finish, including RFP analysis, bid writing, editing, and submission.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary information and ensure accurate and compelling bid content.
- Develop bid templates, standard content, and ensure adherence to company brand guidelines.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field (preferred)
- Experience in marketing and bid management, preferably within the construction industry.
- Strong understanding of construction industry trends, terminology, and processes.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to work to deadlines
