Registered Manager and Clinical Governance Lead

Premium Care Solutions is proud to support various clients, of all ages, across the country with varied complex care needs, such as spinal cord injuries, acquired brain injuries, motor neurone disease, tracheostomy care and clients requiring ventilator support.
Duties will include but are not limited to:
Be responsible for the safe delivery of the service in line with legislative requirements and company policy and procedures.
Responsible for clinical governance and delivery of clinical and competency training throughout the Company to ensure health and social care needs of clients are met.
Evaluate the quality and effectiveness of nursing and care practices in order to improve the service and outcomes for clients. Work collaboratively with clients, family, other professionals and interested parties to enhance the quality of care delivered.
Undertake comprehensive assessments of new referrals and carry out regular reassessments on existing clients, ensuring that all information is obtained from relevant agencies as required.
Undertake training and development to keep up to date with the law, best practice and changes in company policy, CQC regulations and government legislation. Apply this knowledge to day to day management.
Ensure that evidence based, person centred care is central to each service provision.
Promote, research and integrate evidence based identification of best practice in the delivery of care services.
To liaise with Care Managers and HR Department to assist with regular clinical supervision and evaluation of staff, including assessment of competency by direct observation.
To provide training and communicate appropriate and relevant information to Support Workers and other third parties.
To maintain client confidentiality and discretion and to operate in a professional and courteous manner at all times in professional dealings.
Meeting the clients’ clinical and rehabilitation needs as instructed by the Company.
Maintaining contemporaneous records in accordance with the Company’s guidelines and best practice. Excellent written and verbal communication skills essential.
Compile incident forms, report sheets, risk assessments, and any other paperwork required to adhere to CQC guidelines and company policies.
To have a good knowledge of CQC guidelines, the Health & Social Care Act 2008 (Regulated Activities) Regulations 2014 and work in accordance with these in service delivery, including management and training of staff, utilising all available resources.
To be fully conversant with and adhere to local and company adult and child protection and whistleblowing policies and procedures and be involved in adult and child protection investigations as required.
THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION
This is a hybrid role where you will be working from your own home with a flexible approach as extensive travel will be involved, as well as varied start times for your day, overnight stays may be necessary and the possibility of working weekends to meet business needs. This position also includes clinical on call on a rota basis.
You must be a Registered Nurse (adult or children’s complex care) and have leadership experience. Previous Registered Manager experience is also preferred.
You will be a positive individual with a can-do attitude, good IT skills, self-motivated, reliable and resilient.
A full UK driving licence is ESSENTIAL and you must have access to your own car.
An Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Check WILL be required. If you have a DBS registered to the update service this would be advantageous.
