Within our Cook and Prep Department, we are looking to hire for multiple positions to support the needs of the business. We operate 24 hours a day and have opportunities working on either permanent day shifts or permanent night shifts.
Job Description
Within this job, you will be cooking sauces ranging from 50kg to 800kg batches. This will entail:

• Moving the ingredients to one of the cooking vessels
• Loading in ingredients ranging from 1kg to 20kg and following the process steps to completion
• Filling out the relevant paperwork and liaising with the ‘Take Out' team when sauce is completed

Key responsibilities

• Collecting ingredients and cooking sauces.
• Filling out all paperwork clearly and in a timely manner.
• Checking that all food safety standards & CCPs are upheld.
• Checking the sauces viscosity, taste and appearance are within specification.

Experience
Though no previous experience is required as training will be given, the following is required:

• A good understanding of the English language
• Be able to raise concerns where necessary
• Strong work ethic
• Moderate knowledge of allergens (preferred)
• Understanding of sauce cooking (preferred)
• Understanding of a wide variety of ingredients (preferred)
