Why this job matters

The Senior Sales Specialist is responsible for driving and growing our Cisco revenues in NI public sector, with a particular emphasis on the health sector. This is a sales role but with a high degree of technical expertise required, you'll need to influence and create customer business cases and tender outcomes.

What you’ll be doing

Drives Cisco growth across the public sector in line with business priorities.
Develops comprehensive network architecture designs that align with industry best practices.
Collaborates with senior stakeholders in our public sector customers to understand business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
Works directly with customers as a trusted solution advisor to identify their business needs and propose potential ICT infrastructure solutions.
Completes high quality design proposal documentation to meet company standards.

Extensive knowledge of Cisco WAN, LAN and SD-WAN solutions
Cyber Security Solutions – Firewalls, IPS, UTM/UTP, SASE, ZTNA, Cloud Security.
Achieve and maintain agreed vendor accreditations and industry certifications.
Commercial awareness and business acumen.
Strategic and tactical thinking.
