Administration Team Leader - Spire Eye Centre | Administration | Private Hospital | Circa £28,000 PA | Full-Time, Permanent | Sutton Coldfield
Spire Little Aston Hospital have an exciting opportunity to bring on an Administration Team Leader to join their established team. This is a full time position based on-site. The purpose of this role is provide effective, visible and motivational leadership to the Spire Eye Centre Administration Team. You must also ensure all colleagues work within the established policies and processes, and that an exemplary level of customer service is upheld in the provision of service to patients, visitors, consultants and the Spire team.
You will lead a small team of Administrators to continue to provide a 1st class service to our patients, visitors, consultants and where possible improve and grow the service on offer.
Duties and responsibilities

• To be responsible for the overall management and day-to-day supervision of the Spire Eye Centre Administration Team
• Review performance of the administration services based on feedback received from customers, including consultants and developing action plans for ongoing continuous improvement.
• Respond to enquiries from patients, members of the public and consultants in a timely, courteous and efficient manner either by face to face meetings, telephone or letter. Ensure an accurate record of the communication is held
• Maintain departmental electronic and manual filing systems accurately
• Practice and maintain a high standard of confidentiality at all times and exercise absolute discretion in the use of all patient/consultant/staff information
• Provide and receive patient information, ensuring that all patient information is provided, received and recorded in accordance with the Data Protection Act and Spire policies.

Who we're looking for

• Essential - Track record of successful delivery in an office and / or customer service environment
• Essential - experience managing a team
• Beneficial - Knowledge of the healthcare market
• Beneficial - Working knowledge of SAP or a similar system

Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week. As the team leader you will be responsible for planning your working pattern, the centre is open Monday to Saturday 07.30 - 20.00
