About us:
At 28 care services we provide holistic support to individuals in their homes ensuring their well-being and comfort in all aspects of daily life. We are looking for a friendly, compassionate, and dedicated support worker who can also offer domestic cleaning services, ensuring a safe and tidy environment for our clients. The individual would need to be personable and enjoys going to different locations whilst helping those that are vulnerable within our community. We will be offering private health insurance after passing your probation period.
Role Responsibilities:
- Providing companionship and emotional support to clients
- Assisting with daily tasks, including shopping, appointments and prescription
collection
- Domestic cleaning, including vacuuming dusting, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
- Support with meal preparation and light household chores
- Supporting clients in the community and facilitating social visits
Requirements:
- Must have a valid UK driving license and have driven in the UK for at least 1 year
(ideally own car), to drive clients to appointments or activities
- Must have an Enhanced DBS check (or be willing to obtain one)
- Must have a relevant Care Certificates (e.g., Safeguarding, manual handling, first
aid etc)
- Prior experience in care and domestic cleaning is preferred but not essential - full
training will be provided
- A caring and compassionate attitude with a strong work ethic
