Support Worker Job Description
Part time / full time Support worker, younger adult with Autism
DY1 area.
We are looking for support workers, to support a young man who is keen on a range of sporting activities, including Kayaking and attending the Gym. He has recently moved from a residential college to a more independent living setting, which is where you come in!
You will be required to work flexibly to support his needs. there will be the opportunity for full time and part time roles, both will include the requirement to "sleep in" at a fixed rate of pay.
He would require you to support him to plan and prompt him with his daily activities which include, waking up! getting to his work placement, shopping and preparing meals, going to church, the local Gym, Canoe club and other activities in the local community.
We will require that you have good verbal communication skills, and you’ll need a full manual UK driver’s license so that you can use his car to help him get around. PLEASE DO NOT APPLY IF TYOU DONT HAVE THIS

Due to vehicle insurance conditions all candidates MUST BE OVER 25 to drive the Car that is provided by the individual who you will be supporting.
Subject to DBS check and satisfactory references.
