We have an exciting opportunity in our newly built Sherborne practice for someone who is dedicated to delivering exceptional customer care. The role will include answering and directing phone calls, booking vet appointments, processing emails, taking payments, promoting health care options, and maintaining cleanliness standards in our reception area.

We operate across three locations, offering small animal, equine, and farm animals, all conveniently situated close to each other. Our state-of-the-art facilities enable our clinical team to deliver veterinary care with a strong focus on maintaining high clinical standards, which we continually strive to develop and enhance.

Our team is a close-knit group of 30, including veterinary surgeons, nurses, support staff, and clinical directors. We are dedicated to providing exceptional veterinary care and customer service, with a constant focus on raising our standards. More about you

Previous veterinary reception experience is a bonus, but not essential as full training will be given. The successful candidate will need to have the following skills:

Highly organised
Ability to problem-solve
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure at times
Good computer knowledge
Caring and compassionate with both clients and patients

Shift pattern

This role is a full/part-time job share role, working 40 hours over 5 days, plus a Saturday morning on a rota basis. Flexibility will be needed to help cover holidays or absences.

The salary is up to £23,878.40.
