Role Overview
We are now recruiting passionate Viennoiserie Assistants for our production site in Hayes.
As a Viennoiserie Assistant, you will support the production of our delicious viennoiserie items, including croissants, pains au chocolat and danishes.
Your role will involve assisting the Head of Viennoiserie in the preparation, baking, and presentation of these pastries, ensuring that our high standards of quality and creativity are me.
Responsibilities

• Assist in the preparation and production of viennoiserie items following established recipes.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Help with dough preparation, rolling, shaping, and proofing processes.
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure optimal product quality.
• Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

• Previous experience in a bakery or pastry kitchen preferred.
• Demonstrable knowledge of baking techniques, especially related to viennoiseries.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Team player with good communication skills.
• Flexibility to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.

Nice-to-Have Skills

• Culinary school diploma or equivalent baking certification.
• Passion for premium bakery products.

• 5 shifts of 9 hours per week organised through a weekly rota.
• Must have the right to work in the UK.
