About the role:
Macdonald’s Wedding & Events Coordinator is vital in delivering a great guest experience to all our guests. They have a keen eye for detail, an organised approach, and a willingness to exceed our guests’ expectations. Often operating on the front line, they are the real ambassadors of our company and are committed to consistently delivering high standards.
Outline job description

• Maximise sales of wedding and special event enquiries, ensuring the hotel achieves its budgeted target for M&E revenues
• Achieving monthly and yearly targets set by sales manager based on increase in overall event and wedding spend
• Anticipating guests needs, always and exceeding their expectations
• Managing final detail planning inclusive of; bedroom reservations, supplier contacts and direct communication with the internal team
• Third party and direct website enhancements, always reviewing the trends
• Executing wedding showcases throughout the year

Hours & Requirements

• Full and part-time permanent roles available (30-40 hours to suit you)
• 8-hour shifts, including some Saturdays and/or Sundays.
• Additional hours may be required to support the business at busy times i.e. Bank Holidays
• Previous experience is essential - 1 year

• £25-£26k per annum based on FT role
