About the role:
As our Maintenance Manager, you will be vital in delivering an outstanding experience to all our guests.
We see you as a real ambassador of our company, operating on the front line with an organised, proactive approach and a meticulous eye for detail. You enjoy being part of a busy team but also have the drive to build a strong team, always keen to deliver the highest standards and exceed our guests’ expectations.
As a member of the senior team, you will manage the broader operations of the department, as well as make strong relationships with your colleagues/team and build a network of colleagues. This is a great chance to broaden your experience!
Outline Job Description:

• Ensure hotel is compliant with statutory legislation ensuring adequate tests are carried out and recorded in a timely manner and liaising with external contractors where required
• Establish and maintain an energy conservation program to increase profitability without affecting the service to the hotel’s guest
• Oversee essential service maintenance for lifts, fire alarms, extinguishers, emergency lighting etc
• Ensure the efficient operation of all machinery and plant within Health and Safety regulation
• Carry out preventative maintenance inspection programs in preparation of all Health & Safety Auditing
• Liaise with the General Manager and keep up to date with all incidents occurring within the day to day operation of the hotel
• Attend to maintenance requests from other departments as and when required, giving priority to those areas affecting the service or facilities for guests
• Experience in a similar role is essential, where you have assumed responsibility for the maintenance and compliance of a large property.

Salary:

• £33,000 per annum
