**Starting Pay: $17/hr 2nd Shift
**2nd Shift: 2:30PM-11:30PM, Monday-Friday

Summary
Responsible for the safe and efficient assembly of packaged sandwiches and food products. The production worker will perform a multitude of tasks on the production line. Responsible for following all safety, GMP and SQF policies/procedures, as well as adherence to PPE/hygiene policies, in cooperation with the supervisor. Work 40-hours a work week Monday through Friday (with exceptions - overtime or less than 40 hours as business needs demand).
Essential Functions, Duties and Responsibilities

• Operation of food processing equipment
• Packaging and assembly of sandwiches
• Ensure that food products are prepared by following standards of cleanliness and hygiene
• Loading and adjusting items on assembly line
• Monitoring of quality and quantity of food items produced
• Cleaning and sanitation of production line during product change over
• Preparation of ingredients to be ran on production line
• Maintain good housekeeping and clean work areas in assigned spaces
• Perform basic troubleshooting on machine and assist in changeovers (as needed)
• Assist in quality checks (as needed)
• Verify proper packaging and label information and maintain records through handwritten paper documentation
• Follow the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), Safety Policy including Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements, and Code of Ethics, as well as all material handling, dock and security safety
• Report all equipment issues to the supervisor or manager in a timely manner

Requirements

• Must be legally eligible for employment in the United States
• Must wear all proper protective equipment
• Must have consistent transportation to and from work to accommodate shifts ending at different times
• Work in constant cold temperatures (25 to 40 F)
• Lift and carry 30+ pounds
• Able to understand simple verbal and written instructions in English
• Pass physical and drug test
• Compliance with all safety rules
• Overtime as required

Must dress warm for this job. Wear multiple layers of clothes/socks! Will be working in 30-40 degrees F.
