Job Overview
As BOLD’s DEA (Delivery, Extraction & Assembly) Associate, you will play a pivotal role in supporting BOLD’s Delivery, Extraction & Assembly Team, reporting directly to Head of BOLD Movement, the Company's department lead. You will be responsible for driving box trucks and cargo vans from BOLD’s warehouse to our third-party clients’ warehouses, receiving and loading customer orders (specifically gym/fitness equipment), and delivering/assembling equipment for our customers both residential and commercial. Additionally, you will be flown all over the United States to extract fitness equipment, load onto trucks, and disassemble equipment as needed.
You will be responsible for using BOLD’s internal checklist systems, technologies, and communication platforms in a manner consistent with BOLD’s brand standards, ethos, and standard operating procedures.
Key Responsibilities:
- Load and unload trucks from BOLD's West Loop warehouses with fitness equipment per daily customer order itinerary.
- Drive orders to delivery destination (residential and/or commercial), unloading and assembling all equipment.
- Occasionally (2-4 times per month), fly to various US cities to extract fitness equipment from out of state gyms, fitness centers, corporate buildings, with all expenses paid by BOLD.
- Work collaboratively and communicate efficiently with all BOLD team members and company partners.
- Complete delivery and assembly services along with daily Service Visit Reports (SVRs) provided by BOLD via digital checklist in a time efficient manner.
- Be able to fix general fitness equipment issues within reason.
- Escalate damage, issues, or safety concerns observed during installs to Manager and any other need-to-know parties as directed by Manager.
- Adhere to Company’s internal technology protocols and communication standards.
- This position requires that you have a valid Driver’s License and be able to lift up to 200 lbs.
- Free 24/7 employee parking at warehouse.
- Previous experience building and assembling fitness equipment
- Direct experience loading/unloading trucks with heavy equipment
- Commercial Driver's License (not required)
- Highly mechanical - good with tools, socket wrench kits, etc.
- Can lift very heavy objects
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 50 per week
Shift:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Morning shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
