We are a new Cannabis Dispensary in Culver City that prides itself on providing our customers with the highest quality products and exceptional customer service. We are seeking an experienced Cannabis Budtender/Delivery Driver to join our team and contribute to our continued success.
Job Summary:
The Budtender/Delivery Driver is a fast-paced, high-performance position responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our clients, assisting them in selecting the right cannabis products, educating them on the various strains and their effects, and delivering their orders. You will be entrusted to bring about world-class customer service that would generate loyalty and repeat patronage. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the dispensary, accurately processing transactions, and ensuring compliance with all state and local regulations.
THIS IS AN URGENT REQUIREMENT! Previous experience in Cannabis Dispensary work as BOTH a Budtender and Delivery Driver is a MUST!

Key Responsibilities:

• Welcome customers as they enter the dispensary with our mandatory greetings and assist them in selecting products that meet their needs.
• Provide detailed product information, including the effects of different strains, dosage recommendations, and consumption methods.
• Operate the point of sale system accurately and efficiently, including handling cash and electronic payments.
• Check delivery orders for accuracy and deliver these safely and in a timely manner, while providing world-class service.
• While delivering orders, obeying all traffic laws and operate vehicles in a safe manner.
• Maintain strictest confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA guidelines.
• Help manage costs, particularly expenses related to delivery operations.
• Maintain accurate product delivery records and forms.
• Help maintain a clean and organized dispensary, including product displays and merchandise.
• Ensure that all products are accurately labeled and stored in compliance with state and local regulations.
• Follow all dispensary policies and procedures, including safety protocols and security measures.
• Keep up to date with current cannabis laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be age 21 or over - California residency with valid ID is required.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
• Experience as BOTH a Cannabis Dispensary Budtender and Delivery Driver.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license & clean driving record.
• Has a reliable vehicle with up-to-date automobile insurance.
• Good general knowledge of cannabis strains, products and consumption methods with a clear understanding of the Cannabis space and industry trends.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Good team player.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Must pass a background check.
• Willingness to attend and be fully engaged in workforce development training pre and during employment.

We offer competitive compensation, employee discounts on cannabis products. Starting salary is dependent on education, experience, and skills. Although we are not currently offering benefits packages, including health insurance and paid time-off after probationary period, we plan to implement this in the near future.
