We are seeking a Case Clerk to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you will be part of our legal team, preparing cases for litigation, settlement, and trial, while also organizing and maintaining case documents. The workplace is a hybrid, both in office in Minneapolis and remote.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize database software, specifically Smart Advocate, to effectively manage and maintain case records.
• Assist in the preparation, filing, and servicing of legal documents.
• Review, retrieve, and analyze medical records as part of case preparation.
• Maintain regular correspondence with clients through various communication channels, such as letters, phone calls, and emails.
• Participate in strategic planning and case management meetings with lawyers and paralegals.
• Prepare binders for depositions, arguments, and trials.
• Stay updated on changes to state and federal legal systems, including regulatory frameworks.
• Handle customer inquiries and offer problem-solving solutions.
• Execute clerical duties including scheduling meetings and managing files.
• Use skills in Adobe Acrobat, ADP - Financial Services, Cerner Technologies, CRM, Epic Software, About Time, Answering Inbound Calls, Billing Functions, Claim Administration to perform tasks efficiently.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically
• High level of organization and attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Bachelor's Degree in a related field is desirable.
