Key Duties & Responsibilities of a Delivery Driver

Drive and operate vans.
Follow instructions; locate and read location and road maps.
Pre-inspect vans.
Pick up goods and materials, verify loads for accuracy, and deliver them as instructed.
Should be able to lift up to 50 lbs .
Responsible for basic vehicle maintenance; comply with all safe work practices, policies, and processes at all times
No accident and No suspended license in the last 5 years
Inspects vans before and after trips and submits report indicating the vans condition .
Loads or unloads, or assists in loading and unloading vans.
Inventories and inspects goods to be moved.

Benefits & Scheduling:

$22 - $23 per hour (paid weekly) based on experience
Performance based Bonus
Shift starts at 11: 50 am for 9:50 hours
Over Time opportunities
8-10 hour shifts are typical and job role is seasonal
4-day work week (32-40 hours) is typical
Performance Bonus

Delivery Driver Skills and Qualifications:

Preferred work experience as a Delivery Van Driver
Hands on experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB etc)
Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs
Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
Able to work well alone as a delivery driver
Focused on customer service
Positive attitude and professional demeanour
Highly responsible & reliable delivery driver
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work cohesively as part of a team
Extensive knowledge of applicable van driving rules and regulations
No recent moving or driving violations(Clean driving record)
Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather conditions etc)
Willing to support other team members
Listening and verbal communication skills
Dependability·
Must be at least 21 years old
Authorized to work in the United States
Must have good English speaking, reading, writing / communication skills

HIRING PROCESS takes approximately 1 WEEK to COMPLETE. It may take longer if you have an out-of-state driver’s license. We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
