POSITION OVERVIEW
We are looking to hire a compassionate caregiver for a male member in Safford, AZ. His schedule is Monday-Friday 9am-11 am, some days may go until 12 pm. Needs assistance with housekeeping, laundry and meal prep. Opportunity for more hours in the future for caregiver.
Please note requirements for this position: Current in-person CPR/FA Certificate, own vehicle and valid driver's license, personal vehicle, ability to lift 50 pounds, ability to pass a background check, and authorization to work in the United States.
Consumer Direct Care Arizona (CDAZ) provides quality in-home care and support to families and people of all ages, including older adults, children, and individuals with physical, intellectual, or developmental disabilities, so they can remain safe, healthy, and independent in their homes and communities.
Our Caregivers provide support for activities of daily living and everyday tasks, known as instrumental activities of daily living, including but not limited to:

• Grooming, bathing, and dressing
• Maintaining mobility
• Toileting
• Medication reminders
• Eating
• Light housekeeping and laundry
• Meal preparation and clean-up
• Shopping and errands
• Socialization and companionship
• Support and supervision

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Provide compassionate, empathetic, and professional in-home care to elderly and physically disabled members. Consistently uphold a client-focused approach.
• Complete daily personal care and light housekeeping tasks for members in the home, including but not limited to: assistance with bathing, laundry, making beds, cooking meals, toileting, shopping, assistance with dressing, etc.
• Show competency in time management and multi-tasking, while utilizing strong active-listening skills.
• Strive to exceed the needs of the members in accordance with company, federal, and state guidelines.
• Display an optimistic and flexible personality, capable of receiving direction and feedback.
• Respectfully communicate with members, family, administrative employees, etc. on a daily basis.
• Work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Work both independently, and with teammates at times. Must be self-sufficient and effectively use resources to best serve the needs of the members.
• Ability to interact, evaluate circumstances, and subsequently offer solutions. Effectively display good judgment in making decisions and reporting emergencies.
• Maintains confidentiality and does not discuss identifying information of any member outside of the company.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or GED
• Pass a physical lift test of 50lbs or more
• Ability to pass Background Check
• Current CPR and First Aid Certificates or ability to attend a class before hiring.
