Director, HR Portfolio and Communications

Reporting directly to the Executive Director of HR Operations, the HR Portfolio and Communications Director will be responsible for organizing and overseeing the HR Portfolio of annual HR programs and supporting communications. This role will sit at the intersection of HR strategy, portfolio, and delivery, with broad exposure across the HR function and interdependent business areas. This role will have the opportunity to help develop best-in-class practices in how we deliver HR priorities across the business, and how we engage various key stakeholders to ensure readiness and adoption of key HR programs.
This role will partner closely with the HR Leadership Team, HR Core, and Program Design Committee (PDC) to gather a holistic view of HR priorities, informing a comprehensive HR Portfolio spanning integrated programs and business priorities. Ultimate success of this individual will be proven by a planful and integrated HR Portfolio and Communications roadmap, and successful delivery and adoption of those initiatives across HR.

Here’s What You’ll Do:
Serve as the HR Portfolio and HR Communications liaison for HR Leadership, HR Core, Program Design Committee, and key business stakeholders, providing collaborative guidance and advice on program management strategies and frameworks to drive the successful completion of HR portfolio priorities
Develop and maintain integrated HR Portfolio and priorities roadmap
Refresh the Portfolio Management processes, proper cadence, and channels (bi-weekly status reports, roadmaps, governance) to drive the Program Design Committee and ensuring cross-functional HR teams work collaboratively and effectively
Design and support scalable infrastructure (processes, tools and templates) to enable best-in-class end-to-end project delivery across the HR function
Help to communicate project status, milestone progress/achievement, and risks and issues to HR leadership
Partner with key Program Owners and Subject Matter Experts within HR’s COEs to ensure HR audiences receive the right level of information in a timely matter in support of HR’s strategic portfolio, annual programs, and other initiatives
Drive and maintain consistency across HR Portfolio in terms of execution, status tracking, change management and communication activities
Measure and track program effectiveness through qualitative and quantitative methods
Develop a keen understanding of various HR and cross-functional audiences and their needs, common interdependencies
Here’s What You’ll Bring to the Table:
BA/BS degree or equivalent is required
8+ years of relevant experience in project management
HR functional knowledge required
Change management and program communications experience preferred
Experience working with senior management in a dynamic environment
Ability and affinity for working in a matrix environment with cross-collaboration and multiple lines of accountability
Ability to influence others
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong attention to detail
Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills across teams, cultures and geographies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
