We are hiring a Director of Direct Mail & Performance Analytics-Remote.
The Director of Direct Mail and Performance Analytics will lead the strategy and execution of direct response marketing, with a primary focus on scaling the direct mail channel; and will have additional responsibilities to report marketing analytics across all acquisition channels to strategize GTM. This role combines expertise in direct mail best practices—such as audience segmentation, creative testing, and format optimization—with a strong analytical approach to campaign performance. The Director will also manage the entire marketing funnel, providing insights into campaign effectiveness, and work closely with digital and performance marketing teams to ensure integration across channels, presenting actionable insights to leadership.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Lead the development of direct response marketing strategies across direct mail and other channels, ensuring alignment with business goals and objectives.
2. Leverage deep understanding of direct mail best practices, including audience segmentation, creative testing, format optimization, and frequency strategies to maximize campaign effectiveness.
3. Create and manage detailed reports that provide visibility into the entire marketing funnel, from initial contact to conversion and beyond, ensuring that leadership and key stakeholders understand campaign effectiveness.
4. Liaise with direct mail vendors, data providers, and other external partners to ensure seamless execution of campaigns and the highest quality output.
5. Work closely with digital, email, and other performance marketing teams to ensure that direct mail campaigns are integrated into the broader marketing strategy.
6. Analyze campaign performance, develop actionable insights from data, and adjust strategies to improve key metrics such as conversion rates, cost per acquisition (CPA), and customer lifetime value (LTV).
Job Requirements:
1. Minimum of 7 years in performance marketing, with specific expertise in direct response channels, particularly direct mail.
2. Strong ability to analyze complex data sets and make data-driven decisions to optimize marketing performance.
3. In-depth knowledge of direct mail formats, testing methodologies, and response optimization strategies.
4. Experience with full-funnel analysis and the ability to present data clearly to leadership teams, showcasing campaign performance across all stages of the customer journey.
5. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and strategy to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
