Domestic Manager Summary / Description:
The Domestic Transportation Manager role will manage the end-to-end delivery operations to support the Domestic Transportation network. Initially, this role will lead parts of the domestic transportation network separation between our 3PL and Victoria’s Secret. They will support project timelines, initiatives, milestone tracking, etc. to support the separation activities, as well as the various work streams; Inbound, Outbound, Delivery Agent, Yard, Store Delivery, and other potential activities as needed. This role is a change agent who will evolve and shape the role through implementation of key strategic initiatives.

Position Summary:

Support the growth and development of Victoria’s Secret Domestic transportation network into our next evolution

Support the selection and implementation of various 3PL delivery agent and parcel carriers for store deliveries to domestic deliveries to ~800 stores in North America and Puerto Rico

Cultivate existing relationships and coordination with store operations teams to define and provide the desired level of service and consistency

Support cross functional teams in continuous improvement opportunities, to include performance metric reporting associated with Domestic inbound transportation, store delivery and local market logistics services.

Responsibilities Include:

Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to improve network service and cost efficiency with internal teams and various 3PL partners.

Effectively support the development of Victoria’s Secret owned Domestic network including all or parts of the following: Inbound, Outbound, Delivery Agent, Yard, Store Delivery, etc.

Provide recommendations for development of new capabilities within the network for standard and customized store deliveries, backroom congestion management, and offsite storage programs.

Develop, implement, and evolve internal performance reporting to key metrics including on-time delivery, carton scanning and visibility, DA inventory volumes, time in transit, and others

Effectively manages Store operation relationships with the goal of achieving Store Operations Blue Chip priorities, coordinating additional value-added services, and contributing to the overall success of the end-to-end product flow.

Provide support to develop MOOS (Mark out of Stock) & SAS (Semi Annual Sale) delivery requirements for optimized store flow of goods, including reverse logistics back to DC or Delivery Agent.

Support internal store operations teams & 3PLs to develop execution strategies & contingency plans for all markets in terms of seasonal, holiday or other peak forecasts.

Create service review template and implement ongoing performance review meetings with 3PL partners and internal cross-functional partners.

Minimum Salary: $82,500.00
Maximum Salary: $112,665.00

VS&Co provides a range of compensation for this role as shown. Your actual salary will be determined by a number of factors, including: your specific skills and experience, geographic region, or other relevant factors.

Qualifications
Position Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Transportation, Logistics, or other relevant business discipline preferred.

A minimum of 7 years prior experience successfully in Transportation or Logistics Management experience.

Possesses integrity, interpersonal, and leadership skills to accomplish results with and through individuals and teams. Proven leadership skills directing a small exempt and non-exempt team. Self-starter with initiative to action strategic vision of team and leadership goals for the store delivery network.

Operates successfully within a team/matrix organization to achieve desired outcomes. Interacts effectively with all levels of internal and external organizations, suppliers, and customers.

Possesses strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills. Strong time management skills to adapt successfully to agility needs in workload.

Possesses working knowledge and experience with technology and system applications used to support transportation and logistics operations and information requirements.

Travel could be 20%+ to support store operations

Ideally candidate would reside in Columbus Ohio
