Scope of Position
The purpose of this position is to provide customer service via face to face, phone and email to students and community members. Additionally, this position provides assistants with general processing and data entry support for the Admissions and Records department.

Key Measurable Expectations
  • Welcome and provide prospective, new, and returning students with admissions, program and course information and make referrals as needed;
  • Register students by phone, mail, and over the counter as needed;
  • Process priority registrations;
  • Make appointments for advisors;
  • Monitor release of transcript requests for 2+2 Agreements;
  • Process applications for Health Science programs;
  • Evaluate high school & college transcripts;
  • Import ACT/SAT scores into student information system;
  • Process out-going transcript requests following guidelines established by federal act (FERPA);
  • Process enrollment verification requests;
  • Assist with mailing, incoming and outgoing, including bulk enrollment mailings;
  • Update residency coding for out-of-district students of special programs, maintain appropriate documentation and submit reports;
  • Update addresses and residency for current students as needed;
  • Process Lewis and Clark ID’s for students and team members;
  • Prepare recruitment folders;
  • Serve as the Designated Student Officer for International Students;
  • Perform additional data entry as requested.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School graduate or equivalent
  • One year customer service experience with a positive customer service philosophy
  • Proficient in basic computer software applications including Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Data entry experience
  • Possess initiative to deal with unique situations as they develop
  • Flexible approach to a fast paced, multi-task work environment
  • Driver’s License required

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Excel, Colleague, Microsoft Office and Internet skills desired.
  • Work experience in Post Secondary Education
