We are looking to hire a Federal Reactive Center of Excellence Leader to join Microsoft Federal.

The Microsoft Federal organization was established to address the unique mission, legal/regulatory requirements, and procurement rules and processes of the United States Government (USG). Responsibilities
People Management

Customer Relationship Management
  • Leads by example through owning executive relationships with customers, partner, and internal contacts to further customer, targeting the C-Suite (as appropriate), including participating in and contributing to executive-level briefings through the escalation process.
Customer Success Leadership – Delivery and Program Management
  • Coaches team on serving as trusted advisors to key stakeholders and executives to develop and deliver strategic briefings, managing key stakeholder and executive expectations.
  • Manage a repeatable and predictable business and prioritizing complex engagements to address agreed-upon business and industry outcomes to deliver ongoing customer success.

Business Program Planning and Design
Oversees teams who work with cross-functional (e.g., organizational, product, business) stakeholders (e.g., Engineering) to design programs from initiation to delivery.

Oversees teams solving complex problems and synthesizing across organizational boundaries. Provides strategic direction to help teams demonstrate thought leadership when contributing to overall business goals, objectives, and strategies, as well as short- and long-term business priorities. Ensures teams understand and identify current program risks, impact, and develops mitigation plans impacting the broader unit and/or Microsoft.
Applies subject matter expertise when overseeing teams who define and track the success criteria and performance metrics (e.g., Objectives and Key Results [OKRs] and Key Performance Indicators [KPIs], such as quality, adoption, usage, impact, effectiveness) for the program.

Business Program Excellence and Execution
Translates the organizational vision and direction into team priorities when overseeing teams who define and execute on a landing and communication plan, such as the target audience(s) and communication strategy, and gets feedback from teams if communication has landed. Drives teams to maintain the rhythm of business (ROB) during plan execution to ensure participants and stakeholders are communicating and responding according to the necessary cadence. Oversees teams who work across teams (e.g., Landing, Design, Engineering, Supply Chain, Finance, Technical Program Management) to ensure all program requirements are understood and can be met.

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Operations, Finance or related field AND 8+ years work experience in program management, process management, process improvement
    • OR equivalent experience.
  • 6+ years management (e.g., people, project, process, vendor, change) experience.
  • 5+ years of customer facing experience is services or sales.

Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This position requires verification of U.S citizenship due to citizenship-based legal restrictions. Specifically, this position supports United States federal, state, and/or local United States government agency customers and is subject to certain citizenship-based restrictions where required or permitted by applicable law. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport.

Citizenship & Citizenship Verification: This role will require access to information that is controlled for export under U.S. export control regulations, potentially under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations or the Export Administration Regulations. As a condition of employment, the successful candidate will be required to provide proof of citizenship, for assessment of eligibility to access the export-controlled information. To meet this legal requirement, citizenship will be verified via a valid passport.

Cloud Screening: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualificaitons
Ability to obtain and maintain a United States Security Clearance.

Business Program Management M6 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $129,200 - $273,400 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $162,000 - $299,400 per year.
