As a Front Office Lead at Golden State Dermatology, you will be the point of contact in the office and responsible for the front office duties and team. Those duties may include but are not limited to-

• Your day will involve warmly welcoming patients, assisting with check-in and check-out procedures, verifying patients' insurance coverage and eligibility, handling phone inquiries, and maintaining patient records.
• Ensuring the front office day to day operations run smoothly. This will include auditing the patient schedule to ensure any and all gaps are filled when possible. Monitoring the patient no-show rate and completing appointment confirmations. Also, running insurance verification or pre-authorization when necessary to ensure patient coverage for an appointment.
• Be a point of contact for the office and the front office team; which will include communication with the front office team, back office team, Providers, and Practice Manager for the office.
• Identify and provide training/support on areas of improvement for the front office team. This will include communication of organizational/procedural updates for the front office.
• This role will involve a significant amount of multitasking and task management to ensure that all responsibilities are completed promptly. The Practice Manager may assign additional job duties based on the practice's needs.
• Above all, you'll strive to provide exceptional service to our patients, making them feel welcome, comfortable, and well-cared for during their visit. Your attention to detail, compassionate approach, and dedication to patient satisfaction will contribute to the overall success of our clinic.

Helpful but not required skills to have:

• Customer service skills or a patient-centered mindset
• Previous lead or management experience of a team
• Previous Dermatology, healthcare, or aesthetics experience
• Knowledgeable with insurance carriers (i.e., Medicare, commercial, HMO)
• Basic Understanding of medical terminology and HIPAA policies
• Familiarity of our systems- EClinical Works, EMA, or other EMR software
