Position Overview
Strong customer service and support is a cornerstone of our business. Our Inside Technical Sales Associates (TSAs) build customer confidence with efficient and accurate support on our wide array of products and services. Interacting with customers daily, the team serves as the front-line response for customer needs, quickly responding with problem-solving solutions when issues arise. TSAs acquire and apply product and application knowledge to accurately quote on products and process orders. This key position applies a positive can-do attitude, strong time management, the ability to multi-task and excellent attention to detail to offer a world-class customer service experience.
Requirements:
  • Promote Safety as the number one priority of all Lucas employees.
  • Analyze customer service needs and respond or refer to appropriate resources internally.
  • Resolve customer issues and communicate solutions or requested information in a timely manner.
  • Use enterprise resource planning tools to record customer activities.
  • Utilize product acumen and historical quotes to prepare quotes for repeat sales.
  • Follow up on quotes submitted to promote sale closure.
  • Enter customer orders accurately and promote repeat orders with existing customers.
  • Work to expedite orders as necessary, obtaining support from appropriate internal resources.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned.
  • Work is sometimes directed by others and support may be provided in processing work by senior members of the team.
Experience/Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Prior customer service experience required.
  • Prior experience preparing quotes for repeat sales preferred.
  • Prior experience resolving customer issues of limited complexity timely and accurately.
  • Passion for working with people and building relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities while executing against timelines.
  • Ability to communicate respectfully in a manner which results in mutual understanding.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality as necessary and requested.
  • Ability to use desktop computer systems and various software programs to retrieve, record, analyze and communicate data.
  • A positive, can-do attitude.
