Job Description

WHat you will do:

• Responsible for the profit and loss and technical aspects of a program(s) generating profitable revenue and fee for the company.
• Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
• Program may be based out of a single location utilizing established technologies requiring standard application to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems.
• Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
• Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
• Develops new business or expands services with the customer.
• Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
• Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.

What we are looking for:

• 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.
• Ability to:
  • Provide direction to subordinates using established policies and precedents.
  • Make decisions relating to program, customer requirements, and employees working on program.
  • Make decisions on behalf of the company in accordance with company policies.
• An active US Secret security clearance is required for this role
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point, Share Point, and Outlook
• Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Must be able to work with little supervision and can take charge of tasks/efforts
• Ability to work on site in Panama City, FL 5 days a week. (no opportunity for telework)

Bonus points for:

• Knowledge of government contracting environment, management/business plans and program reporting
• Experience working in government contracting
• Familiarity with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR)

Physical requirements:

• May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipyard environment.
