Position Summary:
HII-Mission Technologies is seeking an experienced and motivated Program Manager to lead tasks and provide direct support and day-to-day administrative assistance to the contract manager/senior program manager(s).
This position will support the Special Projects and Operational Testing (SPOT) contract for Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWC), Panama City, Fl. This is a multi-discipline position which will support day to day contract administration for deliverables, management briefing materials, PMO training tracking, and general administrative duties for the Prime Contractor for SPOT.

WHat you will do:
- Responsible for the profit and loss and technical aspects of a program(s) generating profitable revenue and fee for the company.
- Directs all phases of programs from inception through completion.
- Program may be based out of a single location utilizing established technologies requiring standard application to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems.
- Responsible for the cost, schedule and technical performance of company programs.
- Acts as primary customer contact for program activities, leading program review sessions with customer to discuss cost, schedule, and technical performance.
- Develops new business or expands services with the customer.
- Establishes milestones and monitors adherence to master plans and schedules, identifies program problems and obtains solutions, such as allocation of resources or changing contractual specifications.
- Directs the work of employees assigned to the program from technical, manufacturing and administrative areas.
What we are looking for:
- 4 years relevant progressive experience with Bachelors in related field; 2 years relevant progressive experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 8 years relevant progressive experience.

Ability to:
- Provide direction to subordinates using established policies and precedents.
- Make decisions relating to program, customer requirements, and employees working on program.
- Make decisions on behalf of the company in accordance with company policies.
- An active US Secret security clearance is required for this role
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications: Word, Excel, Power Point, Share Point, and Outlook
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Must be able to work with little supervision and can take charge of tasks/efforts
- Ability to work on site in Panama City, FL 5 days a week. (no opportunity for telework)
Bonus points for:
- Knowledge of government contracting environment, management/business plans and program reporting
- Experience working in government contracting
- Familiarity with the Federal Travel Regulations (FTR)
Physical requirements:
- May be required to visit job site in an industrial or shipyard environment.
