Regional Leasing and Training Specialist

The Regional Leasing and Training Specialist will support operations within a specific territory to facilitate leasing operations and support the financial performance of Stoa Group's apartment communities. Primary responsibilities include interacting with prospective residents, communicating the resident value of living in a Stoa community, securing lease agreements and renewals, and training new leasing staff.

WHAT YOU'LL DO
  • Rotate among properties within a specific territory to perform leasing of apartment units to prospective residents by communicating the value of residence at a Stoa community. Provide additional leasing staffing coverage and support to designated properties as directed to achieve performance goals.
  • Represent Stoa Group to prospective residents courteously and professionally, focusing on putting the customer first.
  • Collaborate with the Property Manager and Regional Manager in the assigned market to positively affect leasing performance.
  • This position requires 75% traveling to all Stoa Group properties to provide local support and guidance to meet leasing volume goals.
  • Monitor prospect pipeline, turn leads, and report specific conditions to aid pricing.
  • Maintain awareness of local market conditions, trends, and shopping competition to situate Stoa Group against competitors.
  • Responsible for keeping training needs updated. Continuously improve compliance training programs.
  • Train new leasing team members on appropriate procedures and regulatory requirements for leasing.
  • Ensuring adherence to all local, state, and federal laws governing Fair Housing, Americans with Disabilities Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, and other laws about real estate or leased properties.
  • Adhere to a varied work schedule, including weekends and some holidays, as required to facilitate leasing staff coverage and availability to current and prospective residents at properties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or equivalence
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and personal auto insurance coverage
  • A Minimum of four years of full-time, successful leasing experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
  • Knowledge of leasing practices, terms, and conditions
  • Flexibility and adaptability to rotate among different properties within a territory to perform leasing functions.
  • Ability to travel for rotational leasing assignments, training, meetings, and events
  • Customer service skills and conflict resolution skills to overcome objections and resolve issues
  • Knowledge of apartment management laws and regulations at the federal, state, and local levels
  • High proficiency in Office Suites (Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, Teams)
  • Experience using Onesite is a plus
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth company
