**Job Opportunities** **Full-Time Positions Available** **Melville Location** **Monday-Friday:** 4:00 PM - 12:00 AM **Hourly Pay Rate:** $18.00 **Monday-Friday:** 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM **Hourly Pay Rate:** $18.00 **Weekend Shifts:** **Saturday:** 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM **Hourly Pay Rate:** $18.00 **Saturday:** 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM **Hourly Pay Rate:** $18.00 **Sunday:** 12:00 AM - 8:00 AM **Hourly Pay Rate:** $18.00 **Benefits:** - Paid Time Off (PTO) - Paid sick leave - Employee Referral Programs - Employee Referral Bonuses - Professional Development Opportunities - Flexible Work Schedule **Security Officer** **Responsibilities:** - Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor while on duty. - Greet guests and check identification at the gated community entrance. - Monitor surveillance equipment and inspect buildings, equipment, and access points to ensure the security of the premises and personnel. - Report any irregularities or suspicious events to the appropriate authorities. - Inform violators of community policies and procedures. - Complete reports by recording observations, information, occurrences, and surveillance activities. - Handle tasks assigned by supervisors or managers. SECURITY OFFICER / UNARMED GUARD / SECURITY GUARD REQUIREMENTS: - Must be at least 18 years of age. - High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) certificate required. - Five to seven years of relevant work experience in the United States may be required. - Must possess a valid New York State Security Guard License. - Must be proficient in understanding, reading, writing, and speaking the English language. - Must be physically capable of performing the duties and responsibilities of the position. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Must have customer service skills to greet and screen visitors, as well as handle point-to-point telephone calls with residents and visitors. Compensation: - Starting pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.54 - $18.41 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
