Salary: $35.00 per hour
We're hiring two Security Officers for a local holiday event starting December 9, with potential for permanent positions after the assignment.
Join us as a Security Officer, ensuring the safety and security of event stakeholders at an onsite location with a dedicated patrol vehicle. We have one full-time and one part-time graveyard shift position available. You'll play a crucial role in safeguarding event assets, monitoring equipment, and conducting hourly rounds via foot and vehicle patrols to deter theft, damage, or unauthorized access.
Shifts offered are 8 hours with paid meal breaks.

Dates: December 9th, 2024 - January 8th, 2025 (One month)

Grave Shifts (12:00 AM - 8:00 AM):
- 1 - Full-Time Position: 40 hours per week (5 days)
- 1 - Part-Time Position: 16 hours per week (2 days)

Salary: $35.00 per hour - specific to this temporary assignment.

Vehicle Patrol Agent duties may include:

Maintain a detailed on-duty activity log
Respond to triggered alarms, distress calls, or calls for service
Extensive patrols by foot in addition to vehicle
Generate awareness among communities
Search properties for unwanted trespassers or suspicious persons
Report emergency incidents to first responder agencies
Investigate any potential safety issues or vandalism
Maintain a good working relationship with local law enforcement agencies
Deter or prevent any criminal activity or unacceptable conduct
Address any additional client concerns

Requirements:

Must have Grave shift availability
Must have availability for all dates listed
Must have a valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record
Must have had a license for at least three years
No suspension or revocation of driving privileges
Current California Guard Card
No serious violations including DUI, suspended license, refusing a drug/alcohol test, driving with a suspended license, and fleeing and eluding
Maintain grooming and uniform standards at all times
Excellent time management skills
Must be able to perform the essential functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodations
Ability to stand and walk for majority of shift on various surfaces (concrete, carpet, etc.)
Ability to move 50lbs

Preferred Qualifications:

Eligibility to work in the United States
Excellent interpersonal and written skills; bilingual is a plus
Professional appearance; well-groomed with no visible tattoos or piercings
Desire to pursue police academy, law enforcement, or criminal justice career encouraged
One year Previous mobile patrol, security officer, or asset protection experience
