Summary
SHD Composite Materials Inc was incorporated in August 2018, to service the expanding American and Canadian composite industries. The North American HQ is in Mooresville, North Carolina and became a fully operational manufacturing facility in 2019. The Tulsa, OK facility was added to support the growing pre-peg market in the United States.
SHD Composite Materials Inc are manufacturers of advanced composite prepreg. With a growing global presence, we can service the American prepreg market with high quality prepreg at fast turnaround times together with world class technical support.
Our core strength is the ability to supply high or low volume, with a wide range of tooling and component products throughout America, and around the world.
Purpose and Person Specification
Key Responsibilities

• Working in accordance with Company Quality and Health & Safety procedures at all times.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Retrieve and return materials into the appropriate location ensuring everything is properly labelled.
• Pick materials for shipping.
• Complete paperwork and labels for shipping.
• Package and label materials to SHD and customer requirements.
• Ensure product bagging and packaging acceptable prior to closing box.
• Ensure all paperwork and box labelling correct prior to dispatch.

Skills and Ability

• Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with all levels for the organization and customers.
• Must be able to be forklift certified and safely operate a forklift.
• Must have flexibility and adaptability for changing workloads.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.
• Attention to detail is a must.

• Must have excellent organization and time-management skills.

• Must possess the ability to prioritise tasks and work under pressure.
• Must be able to work independently, self-directed.
• Must be able to work with a team.

Work Environment/Essential Physical Demands

• Ability to perform physical work for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime if required.
• Ability to frequently bend, lift (up to 50lbs), and reach.
• Ability to stand and walk for up to 8 hours per day.
• Ability to frequently push and pull items (up to 105 lbs) using lifting equipment.
• Ability to safely, effectively and reliability receive and give urgent and other essential communications in a factory environment. Must have good vision and auditory senses.

• Ability to detect abnormalities in the process and receive safety signals using visual, tactile, or auditory senses. Must have good vision and auditory senses.

• Must be able to follow all safety and company policies and procedures.
• Must be able to wear all required PPE.
• Must be able to work in a typical manufacturing environment on concrete floors.
• Must be able to work short time periods in cold temperatures.
