Responsibilities

• Design and implement system level APIs and frameworks to enable application usecases for Mixed Reality products.
• Design software to control camera ISPs and sensors.
• Help define the next generation of Mixed Reality products.
• Work in close partnership with a team of cross discipline peers including design, hardware, PM, and Quality Engineering for sustained long term success of Mixed Reality products

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline with proven experience coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, Java Script, or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.
• Experience working with Android or Linux or Windows system level frameworks and internals.
• Experience working with embedded systems.
• Writing performance critical code in C/C++.
• Experience with design, coding, and debugging.

  • Cloud Screening: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

• Experience with software design and development experience.
• Experience with Windows or Linux device SW driver development
• Experience with Hardware bring up and Manufacturing
• Experience with BSP and OS image creation
• Experience using Java, C#, or Kotlin
• Familiarity with CI/Automation frameworks
