Accounts & Admin Officer

PART-TIME POSITION AVAILABLE FOR AN IMMEDIATE START
Acme Carriers is a local family run operation offering storage and removalist services for pool tables and pianos for more than 20 years. You will be joining a small team, based at our Wangara depot, which also includes our other online retail business - The Cue Shop.
We are seeking an experienced admin professional, who can adapt and work across all three business streams. Previous experience in accounts or bookkeeper role would be highly advantageous, especially Xero accounting and/or Shopify software.
This role is partly job share but includes additional tasks:
Initially looking for someone who can work from 9am - 2pm Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Friday (note: hours may slightly increase during peak periods or to meet future business needs)
We are seeking an individual who:
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 20 per week
Work Location: In person

- Managing customer communications (email and phone) relating from everything to sales orders, product enquiries and bookings.
- Assists with packing and shipping orders
- Monitor delivery of orders and manage returns/refunds
- Maintain data accuracy in stock platforms and client portals
- Monitor stock levels and supplier websites to ensure availability of products
- Liaise with suppliers and couriers
- Provide admin support across the three businesses
- Support Finance Manager to input receipts and invoices into Xero
- Adhering to business policies and standards
- Communicating critical information to the Manager and attend weekly meetings.

We are seeking an individual who:
- Has permanent rights to work in Australia (mandatory)
- Has a high level of MS excel & outlook skills
- Confident to administer IT office systems, apps and platforms
- Is able to share workload, but also capable to work autonomously, prioritise own workload and meet deadlines.
- Is well presented and well spoken
- Can easily follow written and verbal instructions
- Is polite, friendly, patient & responsive with customers
- Is reliable, responsible and flexible. Can adapt to a changing workload or demand
- Lives within 25km of our depot
Job Type: Part-time
