The Eyre and Far North Local Health Network (EFNLHN) covers almost 340,000 square kilometres of spectacular South Australia, supporting about 40,000 people living around Eyre Peninsula and the Far North of the state.

Join Our Team as an Administration Officer!
Join the Mid Eyre Medical Practice as an Administrative Officer, where you will be essential in delivering exceptional reception and administrative support. Reporting to the Medical Practice Coordinator, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation of our services, supporting management, staff, and health unit committees.As a vital member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will enhance the client experience by facilitating the delivery of high-quality medical, allied, and primary health care services. You will be responsible for providing efficient financial, administrative, clerical, and personnel services, ensuring our practice runs seamlessly.
Key Responsibilities:
- Customer Service: Address client inquiries in person and by phone, providing assistance and referrals.
- Call Management: Respond to calls with accurate information.
- Appointment Coordination: Schedule and manage appointments efficiently.
- Reception Duties: Greet and direct visitors professionally.
- Relationship Building: Foster connections with colleagues and external organizations.
- Message Handling: Take and relay accurate messages.
- Emergency Procedures: Execute emergency protocols as per guidelines.
What We’re Looking For:
- Microsoft Office Proficiency: Experience with the Microsoft Office suite.
- File Management: Skills in file organization and use of administrative/database systems.
- Team Collaboration: Proven ability to work effectively in a team to achieve goals.
- Health Care Knowledge: Understanding of primary and community health care principles.
- Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with Government Administrative Instructions and relevant legislation.
- Current Microsoft Knowledge: Up-to-date knowledge of Microsoft programs.
- Clerical Skills: Understanding of office and clerical procedures.
