The Role
The Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems Land Systems Program Office (EWIS-L SPO) and Active Electronically Scanned Array Systems Program Office (AESA SPO) are seeking to fill multiple APS 6 positions across the SPO’s.

EWIS-L SPO manages a range of sensitive leading edge capabilities that support our frontline Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel and assets, both domestically and overseas. AESA SPO manages integrated logistics support activities related to CEA Technologies Pty Limited (CEA) sovereign capabilities.

We are looking for experienced and enthusiastic individuals to join the Sustainment Logistics teams with in the SPO’s. The role will require the ability to work with a high level of autonomy and accountability while being able to deliver outcomes to directly support ADF capability.

It will require you to develop the skills and knowledge to be able to provide complex capability sustainment management, technical and policy advice to key stakeholders.

Electromagnetic Warfare and Intelligence Systems Branch in Joint Systems Division is an exciting and complex environment, offering a rewarding career in one of the most dynamic organisations within CASG. We deliver, integrate and sustain intelligence and electromagnetic warfare capabilities into a wide range of air, land and maritime platforms and systems. EWIS Land SPO is comprised of members from various geographic locations and disciplinary backgrounds with diverse skills working together to deliver and support capabilities to the ADF and external Government agencies. This includes Force Protection Electronic Countermeasures, Explosive Ordnance Disposal Robots, Deliberate Route Clearance as well as Tactical Electronic Warfare systems.

EWIS AESA SPO is the CASG Central manager for the commercial relationship between the Commonwealth of Australia (Co A) and CEA - a developer and supplier of sensitive Phased Array Radar and Active Electronically Scanned Array (AESA) technologies. Additionally, AESA SPO manages the International AESA Export Program, for the provision of CEA AESA supplies to international customers.

Possess Material Logistic skills or experience in any of the following: inventory management, asset management and procurement, project management support and configuration item control principles.
Be accountable for a variety of activities including the development and updating of ILS documentation and instructions that support the sustainment and acquisition aspects of materiel logistics.
Have the capacity to think strategically and develop plans and processes to enhance the achievement of business outcomes.
Be responsible for implementing and ensuring compliance with policy, processes and procedures that support the acquisition and sustainment of equipment in accordance with Defence requirements.
Have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Have the ability to maintain relationships with key stakeholders at the strategic, operational and business unit levels.
Possess high level organisational skills, self-drive and initiative with the ability to influence others to achieve tasks and business objectives.
Have the ability to work with a high level of autonomy with a high level of accountability.
