About the Role

As a Broker Support Officer, you are to field incoming phone calls (and manage a dedicated Inbox) from our Broker network regarding queries to home lending applications. The Broker Support Team assists Brokers with queries of home lending applications post lodgement, right through to settlement, ensuring they are supported at all milestones. In some instances, post settlement support is required regarding the general maintenance of settled home lending applications. The position is phone-based, and works collaboratively with our Broker network whilst supporting the wider Broker Partnerships and Home Lending Services Teams i.e. Business Development Managers, Business Development Consultants, State Managers and Home Lending Assessors.

What will your day look like?

As a Broker Support Office you will:
Advanced customer service skills, ensuring first call resolution is of priority
Advanced communication skills (verbal & written) for when communicating via phone and email
Timely actioning and completion of tasks to meet advertised service level agreements
Completion of regulatory and company compliance through computer-based training courses being completed on time
Embrace the Suncorp Bank Culture and demonstrate these behaviours consistently
Embrace team culture and contribute to positive engagement
Drive a positive risk and governance culture
Proactively identify and manage risk as a first line defence of the bank
Support Banking in projects and deliverables
What will you bring?

To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:

Higher School Certificate
Understanding of the Australian Financial Industry
Experience in Contact Centre or Retail (customer facing) highly desirable
Banking &/or Lending experience highly desirable
Demonstrable experience with operational processes and systems (e.g. CBP, Hogan, Sun Link, ALLFI etc) highly desirable
