is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst-IT to work with onsite in Sydney, Australia in some Hybrid working arrangement.
Our client is currently undergoing a significant transformation of their
digital platforms and products. In this role, you will work closely with product owners,
developers, and key stakeholders to define and implement technology solutions that
enhance digital services. You’ll be the critical link between business needs and
technical execution, ensuring that the digital projects deliver exceptional value.
Technical Business Analyst is expected to have good technical knowledge across
Information Systems, Technology Platforms and strong communications skills to
manage vendors and stakeholders across the business. Technical Business Analyst
has responsibility for delivery and operation of the Integration platforms & support
staff - this includes System specialists, vendors and 3rd party.
Key Responsibilities:
 Collaborate with business stakeholders to take the understand detailed
business requirements.
 Analyse and translate business requirements into functional specifications for
development teams.
 Act as a liaison between business units and technical teams to ensure smooth
and efficient project delivery.
 Lead workshops and meetings to elicit requirements, assess solution options,
and drive decision-making processes.
 Support the development and implementation of digital applications features
such as mobile apps, Web platforms, and other supporting digital systems.
 Develop data flow diagrams, user stories, and other documentation to clarify
requirements.
 Work with QA and testing teams to validate system changes and support user
acceptance testing (UAT).
 Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, security standards, and
industry best practices.
 Stay updated on digitization trends and emerging technologies to propose
innovative solutions.
 Communicate effectively with technical teams and software vendors.
 Communicate effectively with key business stakeholders using nontechnical
jargon but with an understanding of the technical complexities in the
background.
Required Skills & Experience:
 5+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
 10+ years’ overall experience
 Understand Enterprises standards and best practices
 Solve problems and overcome obstacles
 Ability to articulate decision criteria
 Think analytically and logically
 Work independently and as part of a team
 Understands and displays positive attitudes to work
 Experience working with Agile methodologies and cross-functional teams.
 Proficient in business process modelling, data analysis, and requirement
documentation (e.g., BRDs, FRDs, user stories).
 Familiarity with API integrations, cloud technologies.
 Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical
concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
 Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think strategically and identify
creative solutions.
Preferred Qualifications:
 Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer
Science, or a related field.
 Experience in delivering digital transformation projects.
 Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence or Trello.
 Advanced knowledge of Microsoft operating system and office products.
 Experience of Business Intelligence tools {Tableau / Power BI}
 Development experience {C#, JQuery, javascript, python, Json, MVC,
ASP.NET, .NET Core,.NET Core MVC, Web APIs, SSIS, SQL jobs, Windows
Services, Docker Containers, Angular is a plus}
 Understand WEB world e.g. Web application & WEB APIs concepts
 Advanced Excel Skills.
 Power point presentation Skills
